Have you ever had a “BLAH” hair day? Or, if we’re being honest, maybe it was a bad hair “phase.” Nothing particularly wrong with the color or cut… but, UGH! Just one of those days (again, sometimes plural days) where your hair just wanted to be limp, and lifeless? Tell me you know what I’m talking about? Of course you do, because you’re human. We all deal with an occasional bad hair day (or two, or three). I know when mine hits, I start thinking crazy thoughts. You know, thoughts centered on a BIG hair change to get me out of said funk— usually involving cutting sheers, bangs or bleach (sometimes red or purple dye).
But fear, not! We don’t have to take such drastic measures to get out of a bad hair rut. Do you want to know one of the best, most simple tricks known to the hair world? And it will cost you $0.
Change your part.
Boom. Easy as that. It’ll change your whole hair vibe— and people will notice. They may even ask you if you got your hair colored. Don’t believe me? Watch this.
If you tend to favor a middle part, rock a deep side part.
If you always wear a side part, switch it to the OTHER side.
If you’re already wearing a deep side part, try out a middle part.
Or mess it up and rock an ambiguous part, that just marches to the beat of its own drum. Sometimes no part, or one that keeps you guessing is the best option.
This hair part trick sounds overly simplistic. But after you've reversed yourself out of a bad hair day using it, you’ll be whistling a different tune!
Try it out. I dare you.
