Shiny.. Glossy.. Voluminous... All the words we want to describe our hair, right? Some of us just aren't lucky enough to naturally have that, so we have to work a little harder at maintaining it. If you're going through a phase where you just hate your dry damaged hair, you're not alone. Today we are going over our top 5 tips to help with dry & broken hair. It's time for a new hair mindset!

Tip 1: Weekly Hair Mask

Moisture moisture moisture. Restoring your hair strands from top to bottom is key. Adding in a weekly hair mask to your hair routine is extremely beneficial. Apply a thick layer from root to ends. 'Clean' beauty products have been ALL the rave recently. We've heard about it, you've heard about it, but are they really worth the hype? Dry damaged hair starts with what you are washing with. Switching to a clean haircare brand free of sulfates, parabens & fragrance is the first step to a healthier scalp and hair. If you are noticing your hair looking all blah, think about what you are washing with. You'd be surprised how many shampoos out there create brittle and dull hair strands over time. Nourished and healthy hair is the goal.

Tip 3: Swap for Silk

That hair elastic on your wrist right now... Yeah, that one. Well, it might be adding to your breakage. Swapping your old ones for silk hair ties can help reduce that breakage. Yes, silk. Sounds luxurious right. Whether you're going to the gym or doing your nighttime skincare routine, protect your hair! There's even a hack you can add in while sleeping.. Switch to a silk pillowcase!! Silk helps hair retain more moisture and reduces friction that causes tangles, breakage, and frizz. Listen to us on this one. Tip 4: Invest in a Hair Oil

The best part about adding a hair oil into your routine is that no matter what type of hair you have, you will benefit. Curly, textured, oily, thin, dry, it doesn't matter. You need one. Hair oils not only add shine & softness, but protect the hair cuticle. We are all about protecting and preventing further damage here. Lather it on at night for a hair mask oil duo.
