Things To Look For When Buying A Curling Iron

Something as simple as buying a new curling iron can be so confusing. I mean, there are so many on the market, and most of us have been using the same one for years so anythings better than that right?! We want to keep your hair + extensions silky and healthy, and that means thinking about what hot tools you are using on your hair. Scroll through to see some of BFB's top tips when it comes to buying a curling iron.

Scared of hair extensions? You NEED to try these!

BFB's top tips when buying a curling iron:

- Make sure it has a temperature control setting! You will want to set your curling iron to 350 degrees (or lower), especially with your BFB extensions. Trust us!

- Choose the best curling iron material for your hair type. Ceramic hot tools are best for thin, curly, or coily hair. Not only does it help lock in moisture, but it can be less damaging on hair. Tourmaline is best for thick hair & titanium for straight hair.

- May seem obvious, but keep an eye on which barrel size you are choosing. The smaller the barrel, the tighter the curl. The bigger the barrel, the looser the curl. We love a curling iron with the option of switching between different barrel sizes!

Don't forget - you need a BFB Hanger for all styling + storing needs!

xx,

BFB Hair Team
